Viral has over 15 years of experience in investment management and client advisory. He was the lead fixed income portfolio manager at Nippon Life India Asset Management (Singapore) Pte. Nippon Singapore’s Fixed Income UCITS became the top quartile performing fund in its category during his tenure. Viral was the back-up equity portfolio manager for Nippon Singapore’s flagship Equity UCITS and other non-UCITS Equity mandates. At Nippon Singapore, he was member of the Investment Committee responsible for oversight of nearly USD 1 billion of peak assets across Fixed Income, Equity and Equity mandates. Viral has a degree in Electrical Engineering from V.J.T.I. (Mumbai) and a Master’s in Business Administration from Northeastern University, Boston. He is actively involved in social causes and was commended as the Most Passionate Outreach Volunteer by Singapore’s Ministry of Social and Family Development, Social Service Office.
